2. Purpose and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data
Findynet Cooperative collects personal data for the purposes of managing customer relationships, provisioning and developing of services, marketing and planning the Cooperative’s services. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of Findynet Cooperative to manage customer and partner relationships and to market its services.

5. Data Subject Rights
Data subjects have the following rights, and requests to exercise these rights should be sent to info@findynet.fi.
The right to access
The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them are being processed and, if so, to access the processed personal data.
The right to rectification
The data subject may request that incorrect or incomplete data concerning him or her be corrected.
Right to object

Right to opt-out of direct marketing
Data subjects have the right to prohibit the use of their data for direct marketing purposes.
The right to erasure
The data subject has the right to request the erasure of data if the processing is not necessary. We will process the request for erasure, after which we will either delete the data or provide a reasoned justification why the data cannot be deleted.
Please note that the controller may have a legal or other right not to delete the requested data. The controller is obliged to keep the accounting records for the period specified in the Accounting Act (Chapter 2, Section 10) (10 years). Therefore, accounting records cannot be deleted before the expiry of this period.
Right to restrict processing
Data subjects may request the restriction of the processing of their personal data if they dispute the accuracy of the personal data or have objected to the processing, and the objection is pending.
The right to withdraw consent
If the processing of personal data concerning the data subject is based solely on consent, and not, for example, on customer or membership, the data subject may withdraw consent.
The data subject may appeal against the decision to the Data Protection Ombudsman
The data subject has the right to request that we restrict the processing of the disputed data until the matter is resolved.
The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman if they feel that we are in breach of applicable data protection legislation when we process their personal data.

6. Regular sources of information
Personal data is collected from the customer at the time the customer relationship is established and from the registrar’s systems to the services via online forms. It is also updated from official sources or other service providers to ensure that the information is up to date.
7. Regular data transfers
As a rule, the data will not be disclosed for marketing purposes outside Findynet Cooperative and its member organisations.
8. Data retention
Personal data is processed only for as long as it is necessary, for example, for the duration of the customer relationship or the time required by the Accounting Act. Data subjects can unsubscribe from our marketing list either through the link provided in the marketing email we send or by sending a message to: info@findynet.fi.
9. Data processors
The controller and its employees process personal data. We may also outsource part of the processing of personal data to a third party, in which case we will ensure through contractual arrangements that the personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and otherwise appropriately.
10. Transfer of data outside the EU
Personal data will not be transferred outside the EU or the European Economic Area.
11. Automated decision making and profiling
We do not use the information for automated decision-making or profiling.
12. Cookies and browsing tracking
We collect information about the user’s terminal device through cookies and other similar technologies, such as the browser’s local data store.
